It is my pleasure to welcome you to Riverdale High School’s Web page. Through this site, we will strive to make it helpful and informative.
The Riverdale High School faculty and administration make every effort to provide a comprehensive curriculum designed to challenge all students in attaining their individual academic goals. Over the past five years more than 82% of RHS graduates have attended a two or four year college/university. The ACT scores of
our students are above state and national averages for core academics. Every year RHS boasts a number of Illinois State Scholars.
Students are encouraged to participate in at least one of the school’s extracurricular programs. We offer fine arts, athletics, student clubs and other organizations. We believe that academics + activities = excellence.
The most important thing I can communicate is how much we appreciate your interest. I urge you to attend a play, a game, or a parent club meeting. Get involved with our District’s Booster Club, PTA, Foundation or one of the other school groups.
